My Strange IT Habits

MY STRANGE IT HABITS

When talking about strange habits of using IT devices. I believe that everything that I do is mostly strange and I usually don't do much activities with IT devices but the ones I do is usually strange and I consider it to be my strange habit.

I have a weird habit  of collecting IT devices even though I know it's not going be much of a use to me. I just like to have a collection of IT devices from every year. When speaking of collecting IT devices I mean of collecting mobile devices. Since, the first time I got my first mobile phone from my parents till now I have been collecting all my mobile phones. I don't usually transfer the files from my phone to my PC. So what I do is keep the files in the phone I use and keep those files in the phone as long as it lasts. Once in a while, I switch on my old phones and see thorough the files and that makes me happy. When I go through the files I usually go through the pictures or text messages, I don't know why, but it makes me feel good and cherish the moments from the past and sometimes if I come across funny pictures or messages it makes me laugh as well. The picture below are the IT devices that I currently have in my possession. These are just few of of my complete collection as the rest are back in my home country. And I hope to increase the collection more and more in the future.

Secondly, I consider myself to be weird, as because nowadays there are lots of applications that are made for entertainments. Since, I use an iPhone 7 but still I don't download any application like games or any sort of entertaining applications. I like my phone to have less applications so that I don't need to scroll down pages to find applications when I am in need to an application that is important to me. So, I only keep the applications that I use regularly.  Therefore, the maximum number of pages that I have in my iPhone, if very much necessary is 2 pages. But most of my work and activities are done from the first page as I usually do activities that is necessary for my daily activities.The picture proves it all that I rarely use anything new or entertaining in my phone. All my daily activity applications are on the home screen of my phone and I feel comfortable accessing these applications right away after unlocking my phone instead of searching for the application I desire to use.

I find the following activities of mine to be weird and all strange but I still enjoying doing it as it became my habit, since I have been doing it for a long time and I enjoy keep doing it like this. I wouldn't have realised that these activities of mine would be weird until I had this assignment from my strategic technology management class. Thus, after completing this assignment I realized my activities are weird but I will keep doing these activities since I enjoy doing this activities.

My University CGPA Life Cycle

I, Hasmim Fahad Jalal Jishan Started my University on August 2013 in Assumption University. Throughout my journey in my university, one of the hardest things to maintain was CGPA. No matter how much I tried to increase it, it always kept on going down. Thus, I can say my GPA has a life cycle as it constantly had ups and downs throughout my university career in Assumption University. I managed to keep a constant good relations with my friends and teachers, but my GPA always kept on troubling me. If one semester I do really good, then on the next semester it was surely to come down and reduce my over all CGPA. It's really hard to pull the CGPA up but, on the other hand its really easy to pull down the CGPA. Even an A- as a grade can pull down my GPA a lot and it takes a lot of effort to cover up for one A-. I believe this is a challenge in the university to maintain you CGPA as good as possible. No one is perfect, but trying to be as perfect as possible is a good effort as it will make you stronger and a better person in the long run.

Currently, I am on my last semester and my struggle to maintain my CGPA is still my main concern. For one last time, its my effort to give my best to pull up my GPA. After this semester I won't have any other opportunity to increase my CGPA, and after this semester my certificate of my Bachelor's will be issued and the CGPA will be part of me for the rest of my life. So, I am really trying my best to leave a good impression on my CGPA, as in the future when I see my Bachelor's Certificate, I can have a feeling of satisfaction instead of any regret for of doing good as I will feel that I gave my best to achieve the highest of my potential and that's the best I could do after maintaining all the other relations in my university life.

I am trying to give my  best performance in every courses that I have registered in my last semester (2/2016). I plan to have the best grade for every course and as my final exam is coming closer and I have to start preparing for my exam and do my best to maintain the CGPA that I desire to have on my certificate when I graduate from ABAC.

 The above diagram is the graphical representation of my academic performance in last three and a half years. As it shows the ups and downs in my GPA. This is my university CGPA life cycle as i had to implement new strategy and ways to study in order to achieve my best performance and every time I have a bad GPA, I implemented new strategy to study and tried to move the graph up wards and make my GPA survive in the honors level.

As the new date for graduation has already been announced it got me more excited to work harder to be part of this graduation ceremony. I hope and pray that I can successfully complete my journey in Assumption University and graduate with honors. So, that I can have a better future, and making my friends, teachers, and parents proud.

Every thing has a life cycle and need a proper implementation of strategy to make the cycle survive and perform at its' best. A proper path to follow the goal is always a great path to success.

In this era of globalization and advancement in technological things have become very much easy and hassle free for people as technologies seems to make work and activities very much easy for the people to accomplish without consuming much time. At recent times people are getting educated about the cloud computing and started to know the benefits of cloud computing. Availability of  cloud service providers are increasing. Moreover, recent trend of businesses is moving towards the usage of cloud providing services. There are lots of cloud providing services. And today in my blog I will talk about the cloud service provider that I like personally the most and the cloud provider that I perceive to be least impressive. 

As I am an university going student I frequently have to do lot of presentations and do report works. The most impressive and useful cloud providing service that I perceive to be very impressive is the google cloud platform as it help me do my assignments regularly and save my time as well. Due to the facilitation of cloud computing I do not have to worry about forgetting my flash drive back in my room as I can easily access to my needed files in class room from my cloud drives. In general it also benefits all the individuals of cloud drive users in various ways and helps them to be stress free from being forgetful.

Google Cloud Platform

Google Cloud Platform does deserve a mention when talking about most useful and impressive list of cloud service providers. The main ones are Google App Engine and Google Compute. There are several other Google cloud services too, such as Google Cloud Print and Google Drive. These are the ones that I use it very frequently as my daily need activities. Google Apps are becoming an integral part of most businesses in this recent era.

As proper marketing takes place to educate people about the cloud services’ worth, like the Google Compute Engine. Cloud computing will soon become widely used among many people and life will be very much hassle free and work loads will reduce to minimum.

On the other hand, there are also many cloud service providers that I find it to be very unattractive and one of the main reason is I do not feel comfortable using it as it does not fulfill much of my necessary needs.

I perceive iCloud to be the least impressive of cloud service provider as iCloud to me only serves the dire purpose of the apple supported applications and the accessibility of the necessary information is not convenient and the availability of apple application operating devices are not much around me and thus, consider i Cloud to be least impressive to me as of my own personal point of view.   

In overall, conclusion I would say that learning about this topic in my Strategic technology management class is very much important as cloud service providers helps students like me to ease my work and even when I work in professional career it will also benefit me in many various ways to excel in my career in future.

Management of my Family's Intangible Asset

How My Family Manages Their Intangible Assets

Intangible Asset- An intangible asset is an asset that does not exist in physical form in nature. 

There are varieties of ways in which we can manage our valuable assets. There are many governmental policies to help us protect our intangible assets. Plus, there are many more methods to help us keep our intangible assets safe and secured. 

Among my family members my father loves to travel a lot. He travels for his business purpose and its also his passion to travel. Apart, from the official works when he is free he like to capture his good moments in a frame of picture. Therefore, we can simply say that those pictures of his are his intangible assets. My dad is not very comfortable printing out all those pictures. So, how he manages those pictures? It's very simple, he likes to save the soft copies of the pictures in his google drive and drop box. He claims that it is very convenient for him to store and save in the online drives. As it is that he can access to his pictures and share those pictures with his family anytime with an ease. 

 

We can also benefit from his way of managing his intangible asset. We can also access those beautiful pictures and moments he enjoys and he can share them with us in real time. So, in this way we also feel that we are also travelling with him as a family and live the beautiful and memorable moments together. 

Google Drive and Dropbox have multiple purpose to help my father to manage his intangible assets, as he can save his pictures and as well as he can manage his official documents with his office colleagues. Therefore, when he goes for business travels, it also becomes his trip as he get to spend time with the nature and its beauty, and completing the task of his business.

In addition, to google drive and drop box, my father also uses the icloud and itunes as he has his apple ID, our family can benefit from his apple account. My Family like to use apple products, we use our father's apple ID and make all the purchases from the apple store. And once we make the purchase we all can share the same application in different devices. Thus, we can save the money of purchasing the application for different devices. 

                

You don’t have to be a technology expert, you don’t need to read thousands of books about IT to manage your intangible assets. You can use few devices and software which will allow you to easily access, store, protect and manage your intangible assets from any place at any time. With the blessing of the era of technology managing and keeping track of all our intangible assets are very easy and convenient. I, myself also use these methods to manage my intangible assets as well.

As 2016 was coming to an end the excitement to make a trip with friends was building up with an huge intensity to make the best of the celebration on the 31st night. Within short time with the help of our smart mobile devices we selected the closed place to celebrate our new year. It was none other than the place to Pattaya.

As a foreigner in this country I was very much lost, but thanks to the blessing of advanced technologies my friends and I were able to sort out the place and find the directions without any trouble. The best helper is the technologies around us and our smartphones are the best smart device equipped with all the applications needed to  help us manage our task that we need in our daily life.

With the blessings of advanced technologies things and life is very much easier and simpler. With high- tech devices our smart mobile phones are capable of lot of functions that benefits us in may ways to make our life very memorable. With our smart mobile phones we could find our exact way to the right locations and with the help of the application in the smart phone we could find the suitable transportation and make our journey trouble free. We could also take good wonderful pictures to capture the memories of our trip and those pictures still brings smile to our face and will continue to make us smile for a long time. This devices have made our trip complete and it backed us up with the necessary supports we need to make the trip a successful one.

                                              

My friends and I spent the vacation after the finals till the new year in Pattaya and will tried to cover all the beautiful places in Pattaya. For me the best attraction was the island in Pattaya as we had to travel in the sea and I loved the blue ocean and the breeze. it was a perfect stress reliever after the finals. 

The trip was great we also managed to book hotel from our mobile application and it didn't take any time to find the hotel. All thanks to the help of the information technology that surrounds us.

              

               

The trip was one memorable one and thanks to the information technology around us made the trip much more easy to manage and make it fun and a successful one. This memories that I am able to share here wouldn't be possible with the help of technology around us.

  

                                            

                                            

Making the trip with friends after the finals was a great reliever from stress and a great way to start off the new year 2017. Thailand is a amazing place to travel and look around with its beautiful natural assets. I still have lots to travel around Thailand and see it's natural beauty.And with the help of information technology around us I am looking forward to preserve my memories and relive them for a long time.
